Kincaid’s mayor has again been arrested — less than two weeks after he was arrested for the same offense.

Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp says Illinois State Police arrested Mayor Doug Thomas Thursday morning shortly before 11:00. He’s being held in the Christian County jail pending a bond hearing Friday morning at 10:00.

He’s accused of violating an order of protection, filed by an ex-boyfriend. He was arrested for that earlier this month, and police found drugs on him during booking.
