Illinois Chosen to Test New ACA Software

A website being tested in Illinois aims to address widespread confusion about choosing an insurance plan on the government sites of President Barack Obama’s health care law.

It’s now nearly impossible to compare the out-of-pocket costs of insurance policies on government websites.   The free website estimates total annual costs for each health plan tailored to a consumer’s profile.

So far, it’s available only for Illinois.
