Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputies say a lockdown at the Lincoln Place Mobile Home park in unincorporated Springfield near Riverton has ended.

Police say the incident started around 6:00 Tuesday night after a man barricaded himself inside a trailer and threatened officers, which prompted the tactical response. County authorities deployed a military style tactical vehicle later in the evening, after which the man surrendered.

No one was injured and no shots were fired.
