A funeral was held for a 3-year-old boy who drowned in a relative’s above-ground swimming pool.

Briccen Wahl of White Hall had been playing with other children Monday when those kids went home for dinner, leaving him alone. The boy then managed to get into the gated pool.

He was airlifted to St. John’s Hospital and pronounced dead. He was laid to rest Thursday.
