There is no excuse to get a DUI after Saturday’s St. Patrick’s Day celebration.  The Springfield Police and Fire Departments have banded together to offer free cab rides to those who have partied hard.  Bars downtown will have the vouchers from 3pm Saturday through 5am Sunday.

Illinois State Police, Sangamon County Sheriff’s Deputies, and area Police Departments will be out in force beginning Friday evening to get impaired driver’s off the roads.
