Familiar Hand to Steer District 186

A familiar name will be sitting in the Springfield School District’s Superintendent’s office for the next few months. Robert Hill will take on the role of interim superintendent for the next 100 days or until a permanent chief is seated.

The Board of Education unanimously approved Hill to be a care-taker at $650 a day. Current Intermin Superintendent Bob Leming’s 100-day contract expires in January. Jennifer Gill is expected to enter into negotiations to assume the District Superintendent position permanently at the next meeting of the board.
