Attendance at the Illinois State Fair is down compared to last year.
Through Sunday, attendance was 323,390, compared to 357,807 through the first Sunday in 2013, a fall-off of 9.6 percent.
Fair manager Amy Bliefnick says she was worried attendance would be even lower when it rained Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
