One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries after a Springfield District 186 bus collided with another car Tuesday morning near the corner of Stokebridge Rd. and Camden St. on the northeast side.

Springfield Division Fire Chief Mark Hart says none of the nine children aboard the bus were injured.

Hart says the other car caught on fire, but it was quickly extinguished. He couldn’t say whether the injuries were related to the crash or the fire.
