Champaign County to Issue Same-Sex Marriage Licenses

Champaign County has started issuing same-sex marriage licenses. The county
clerk made that decision after a federal judge ruled last week that gay couples
in Cook County don’t have to wait until June.

Gordy Hulten says if the original law is unconstitutional in Cook County, then it’s unconstitutional in his county, too.
