Blood Donations Down

Blood Donations Down

Weather did more than wreak havoc with school schedules and roads.  The Central Illinois Community Blood Center says it also kept people from venturing out to donate blood.

The center says it is down 600 pints and is enticing donors to come into the blood center today (Thursday) through January 12th to donate.  Those who do will be entered into a drawing to win a snow blower.

The center is located on South 7th; the hours are weekdays from 7am to 6pm and on Saturdays 9am to noon.  Walk-ins are welcome.
