Berlin Meth Lab Busted

The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office has busted a meth lab in Berlin.

Four people were arrested … Brian Bennett, Donna Bennett, Jerry Patterson and Kenessa Gibbs. Gibbs was arrested on an outstanding warrant. The former three have been charged with posession of meth making materials, possession of meth, conspiracy to produce meth and permitting use of a house to produce meth.

The Sangamon County DIRT Team received a tip about the lab on Madison Street in Berlin.

Officers discovered meth making materials and toxic waste from the lab, which has been forwarded to the Illinois State Police Crime Lab.
