Arrest Made in Springfield Robbery

20-year-old Anthony Brown, of Springfield, has been taken into custody by Springfield police as a suspect in the robbery of the Citgo station on north 9th early Friday morning.

Brown is alleged to have robbed employees of cell phones and lottery tickets at gunpoint around 1:15 am Friday.

The SPD will also investigate to see if Brown has any connection to earlier robberies at the Gas Depot and the California Kitchen, both of which occurred in June.
