Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy is taking his first step into acting after landing a cameo role in hit TV comedy “Parks and Recreation.”

The rocker will make a guest appearance in the show as the lead singer of a fictional rock band called Land Ho!

The show’s creator Michael Schur revealed the news during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are trying to convince him (Tweedy) to reunite for the big Unity Concert they are organizing to solidify the merger of Pawnee (the town where the show is set) and Eagleton.”

The episode will air in the spring.

Rauner Issues Pardons

Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate businessman Bruce Rauner participates in a Republican gubernatorial candidate debate Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Springfield, Ill. The four Republican gubernatorial candidates said that they’ll be willing to work with unions if elected but differed on how to approach the relationship during a downstate debate that largely focused on pension reform, taxes and just briefly on personal issues that have dogged some of the candidates.

Rauner granted 10 and denied 200 clemency petitions.
