Wilco rocker guest starring on ‘Parks and Rec’

Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy is taking his first step into acting after landing a cameo role in hit TV comedy “Parks and Recreation.”

The rocker will make a guest appearance in the show as the lead singer of a fictional rock band called Land Ho!

The show’s creator Michael Schur revealed the news during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, saying, “Leslie (Amy Poehler) and Andy (Chris Pratt) are trying to convince him (Tweedy) to reunite for the big Unity Concert they are organizing to solidify the merger of Pawnee (the town where the show is set) and Eagleton.”

The episode will air in the spring.
