LYNCHBURG, Va. – A train caught fire after it derailed in Lynchburg, Va., shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Several buildings downtown were evacuated.

No injuries have been reported.

It was unclear what caused the derailment but it sparked a large fire that officials were allowing to burn out on its own.
