Fans of the Disney blockbuster “Frozen” can get a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the animated film in a new special set to air tonight on ABC.
“The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic” will give viewers an exclusive look at the origins and evolution of the Academy Award-winning film, which shattered box office records to become the biggest animated feature of all time.
The movie grossed more than $400 million and helped propel the soundtrack, which featured Top 40 hit “Let It Go,” to be named the year’s best-selling record.
“Frozen” stars Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel were interviewed for the special, that also promises a look at the Norwegian villages and landscapes that inspired the look of Arendelle.
Disney says the special will include an “exciting announcement” about the next chapter of “Frozen.”
“The Story of Frozen: Making a Disney Animated Classic” airs at 8 p.m. Eastern on Sept. 2.
