Pharrell Williams has two big reasons to celebrate this week after his song “Happy” landed him an Oscar nomination and a top website award for its unique music video.

The superproducer wrote the tune for the “Despicable Me 2″ soundtrack, and it was named as a contender for the Best Original Song Academy Award on Thursday morning, when the shortlist for the Oscars was announced.

It was the second piece of good news Williams had received in 24 hours – on Wednesday night, he learned 24hoursofhappy.com had won the Favorite Website Awards prize for Site of the Year.

“Happy” was the first 24-hour long music video. It featured fans and celebrities, including Despicable Me 2 star Steve Carrell, Jamie Foxx and Kelly Osbourne, lip-synching to Williams’ lyrics. Viewers were able to log on to the website to create their own version of the promo by switching between channels, which showcased different people dancing and singing along to the track.

Announcing the news of his website win via Instagram.com, Pharrell wrote, “The 24hoursofhappy.com website has won FWA’s Site Of The Year award for 2013. So humbled by this honor”.
