“The A-Team” star Mr. T is to be inducted into America’s WWE Hall of Fame.

The wrestler and actor is being honored for helping to launch the WrestleMania franchise three decades ago, when he and Hulk Hogan teamed up at the inaugural event.

WWE founder Vince McMahon tells TMZ.com, “His WWE appearances were instrumental in helping to establish WrestleMania as the pop culture phenomenon it is today.”

It’s not the first time Mr. T has been considered for the Hall of Fame – he infamously turned down an induction in 2009.
