Actor/rocker Jared Leto keeps his books on a coffin in his living room.

The star has accumulated a number of souvenirs from his various Hollywood projects over the years, but nothing more morbid than a prop coffin which he uses as a makeshift bookshelf.

Speaking to Ryan Seacrest during the “E! Live From the Red Carpet Special” at the Grammy Awards on Sunday, the 30 Seconds to Mars frontman revealed, “It sounds a little bizarre, but I ended up with it, I think from a film that I did. I can’t remember why I have it, but it’s basically got a bunch of books on it.

“I think it’s empty. There was a very strange odor wafting from the coffin at one point. But I don’t know, when you’re on tour as much as 30 Seconds To Mars your house just becomes a giant storage unit.”
