Gene Simmons wants fans to plan 40th anniversary project

Gene Simmons has asked fans to find the best way to celebrate KISS’ 40th anniversary.

The rocker wants the band’s loyal devotees to pitch suggestions of “how KISS should celebrate their 40th anniversary in the most epic way possible,” using crowd-sourcing website Tongal.com.

Simmons tells The Hollywood Reporter, “We’ve always been about the fans. Tongal allows our fans to throw out ideas, and you know you’re going to make something authentic.”

This year, KISS will celebrate 40 years since the release of their debut self-titled album in 1974.
