Comedian John Pinette has died. He was 50.

The funnyman was found dead in his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania hotel room on Saturday.

Pinette’s manager, Larry Schapiro, has confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter, revealing the cause of his client and friend’s death was a pulmonary embolism.

Pinette, who is best known for his roles in Seinfeld and 2004 film “The Punisher,” entered a rehab facility last August in a bid to beat an addiction to prescription pills.
