Actor Alexander Skarsgard raised temperatures in the South Pole last month by posing naked on an outdoor toilet, and he has the photo proof of his prank.

The hardy “True Blood” star, who reached the coldest place on Earth as part of the Walking With the Wounded Challenge, which also featured British royal Prince Harry, stripped down in the sub-zero wilderness and posed for a toilet shot as he read a book.

His team guide, Inge Solheim, took the photo and posted it on Instagram.com on Tuesday.

The adventurer captioned the shot, “What are you reading, Alex? The script for season 7 of #truebloodHBO?”

In a TV scene similar to the South Pole toilet moment, Skarsgard lounged fully nude on a chaise lounge in snowy Sweden as part of the season six finale of “True Blood.”

Social Service Groups Sue Governor for $100M Past Due

Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate businessman Bruce Rauner participates in a Republican gubernatorial candidate debate Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Springfield, Ill. The four Republican gubernatorial candidates said that they’ll be willing to work with unions if elected but differed on how to approach the relationship during a downstate debate that largely focused on pension reform, taxes and just briefly on personal issues that have dogged some of the candidates.

Five dozen social service agencies working without pay for nearly a year because of the Illinois state budget stalemate are suing Gov. Bruce Rauner.
