TWERK IT: Miley Cyrus had quite a year. Photo: Associated Press, WENN

She came, she saw, she twerked. This year was a good one for the former “Hannah Montana” star; she was among the top searched terms on Yahoo, was named MTV’s Artist of the Year, and had a chart-topping album, “Bangerz.” Sure she may have been named among the year’s worst dressed, broke up with her fiance had a very public Internet feud with Sinead O’Connor, but she also helped usher the word – and the dance – “twerk” into popular culture.  From twerking on everything – from a guy in a Beetlejuice suit to Santa Claus, most of the time she did it with her tongue hanging out. Here’s some of our favorite Miley moments of 2013.
