WTAX Announces New Program Lineup

Newsradio WTAX Thursday announced several programming changes that will take effect on Tuesday, May 28th. WTAX’s new Monday through Friday lineup will be as follows:

1a – 4a: Coast to Coast AM

4a-5:30a: Wall Street Journal This Morning

5:30a-9a: WTAX Morning Newswatch

9a-11a: Glenn Beck

11a-2p: Rush Limbaugh

2p-3p: Clark Howard

3p-6p: Ray Lytle

6p-8p: Todd Schnitt

8p-10p: Jason Lewis

10p-1a: John Batchelor

WTAX wants to have a local presence in the morning AND afternoon. Talking about the issues important to you and your neighbors is what makes great local radio. It will be interactive and Ray’s not afraid to talk with those who disagree with him.

Sean Hannity has served us extremely well during his tenure, but it’s time to move in a more local direction. Clark Howard will be on from 2-3, Ray will be on from 3-6, and Todd Schnitt will still be on from 6-8. Because Clark Howard is moving to afternoons, John Batchelor will take over at 10:00 and run until 1am. Coast to Coast AM will begin at 1am.

Comments or questions about the new programming can be directed to WTAX News Director/Brand Manager Alex Degman by calling (217)753.5400 extension 222, or e-mailing him at adegman@wtax.com.
