Researchers at U-I-S’ Survey and Research Center hope their inaugural Sangamon County Citizens’ Survey becomes a periodic project. Doctor Ashley Kirzinger led the effort and said they surveyed more than 600 residents on how they felt about some key indicators of life in the county.
“We are establishing benchmarks and repeat this survey couple of years to track what changes are going on,” Kirzinger told the Springfield Civic Club Friday.
The survey includes some key areas to such as education, the business climate, and public safety. It is available on line at the U-I-S website (uis.edu).
