The man accused of robbing a Springfield bank has been arrested.
Springfield police say they and the U.S. Marshalls Violent Fugitive Task Force arrested 29 year old Ronald Wiley of Chicago late last week. Wiley has been charged with armed robbery in connection with the May 30th incident at the U.S. Bank on South 6th Street.
Wiley allegedly pointed a gun at the teller and demanded money before fleeing the scene. He also had outstanding warrants in Champaign and Cook counties.
