And then there were six… the Springfield Board of Education now knows the identities of the final six candidates in the running to be the city’s next public school superintendent.
Board member Scott MacFarland says the public can interview the final candidates on December 11th.
“It’ll be open to anyone to attend,” says MacFarland. “There will be a brief presentation by the finalists to let everyone know who they are, then there will be a moderated question and answer session.”
The public won’t know who the final six are, but they’ll know who the final two are. The candidate pool has been whittled down from an initial 40 candidates.
