One Southeast High School senior is pushing for an end to bullying. Kala Woodside, who is also the student member of the school board, says she’s working with sociology and psychology teachers to formulate a survey about all kinds of bullying.
“As well as student-on-student bullying, there’s also student-on-teacher and teacher-on-student bullying,” she says. “Maybe we could form a relationship between the students and the teachers to make education better.”
Woodside hopes teachers and administrators take notice of the issue, especially on the topic of social and cyber bullying.
