Randolph Co. State’s Attorney Won’t Prosecute Concealed Handgun Cases

People who have a valid FOID card in Randolph County won’t be prosecuted if they’re caught.

Randolph County State’s Attorney Jeremy Walker has says he won’t prosecute any law-abiding citizen who’s concealing a handgun.  The news comes just one week after Madison County officials gave residents the right to carry.

But the State Police and the Sheriff’s Association aren’t happy with the move because state law still bans guns in public.
