“Laughable” is what prosecutor Mike Atterbury called murder defendant
Christopher Harris’ claim that he killed a 14-year-old boy in self-defense.
Harris is accused of killing five members of a family from the small town of
Beason after a night of drinking and drug use in 2009.
Atterbury spoke for two hours in his closing arguments, touching on the physical evidence like the tire iron used in the killings and testimony from Harris’ brother and a former cellmate that Harris admitted the killings.
