Is the so-called conference committee on pension reform making any progress? One member of that panel thinks so. State Representative Mike Zalewski told Bob Murray on today’s Morning Newswatch that the committee can craft a solution for a vote this fall.
“It has taken us several decades to get into this mess and to expect to have the committee come up with a solution in two weeks is unrealistic” says Zalewski.
He does say, however, progress is being made and he hopes they will have a plan to present to lawmakers in the fall veto session.
