A new national movement called Overpasses for Obama’s Impeachment has a presence in Springfield. More than a dozen people stood on the West Lake Shore Drive overpass of I-55, holding signs and waving flags towards motorists.
Sandy Dragoo, a spokeswoman for the local group says its a way their voices to be heard.
“The goal is to get the message out that people are unhappy, that there’s another side out there who’s not happy with the present administration,” says Dragoo.
Dragoo says the media are not giving coverage to stories that oppose the president, and believes this effort will continue to grow as more people find out about the movement.
