Former Rep. Jackson Given More Time to Pay Up

A judge has given former Illinois congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. additional time to pay $750,000 in restitution.

A federal judge granted a request to give Jackson until October 25th before she rules on a government motion to seek forfeiture of Jackson’s interest in the family’s two homes and a retirement account.

Jackson and his wife, Sandi, are scheduled to be sentenced this month on charges related to Jackson’s misuse of campaign funds.
