U-S Senator Dick Durbin says House Republicans could take a page from the Senate’s playbook when it comes to forging coalitions. Durbin says the defeat of the farm bill is just one example.
House Speaker John Boehner’s failure to pass the farm bill in his chamber points to the GOP’s failure to be flexible. Appearing on the Morning NewsWatch with Bob Murray, Durbin says he doubts the current leadership in the House will try to forge a bi-partisan approach to immigration reform either. Durbin says quote “time and again, he just doesn’t learn.”
