A group of ten lawmakers will be meeting next Thursday to come up with a pension fix. It’s the first meeting for the conference committee formed to come up with a pension plan that will meet constitutional muster and solve the state’s 97-billion dollar pension liability. The meeting will be held in room C600 at the Bilandic Building in Chicago, at 11 a.m. It’s open to the public and will be streamed live at ILGA.gov.
