Conceal Carry Headed to Court
Conceal Carry Headed to Court

Illinois’ Attorney General is filing a motion to delay a mandate for the state to enact its concealed-carry law.

Lisa Madigan said in a statement yesterday she filed a 30-day delay motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals in part to give Illinois Governor Pat Quinn time to review the legislation.  The Appeals Court previously  gave lawmakers until this Saturday to legalize the concealed carry of firearms.
