One of the fastest growing communities in Sangamon County is hoping to draw even more business to the village. Chatham President Tom Gray says the village board’s continuing relationship with a Springfield public relations firm will make it easier to get the word out to developers and businesses across the state to consider the growing suburb.
“Our median income is high. We have the consumer businesses want. We have the critical mass to make us attractive” according to Gray.
The Chatham Board of Trustees severed its ties with a lobbyist because some say they were not getting enough bang for the buck. HPR Marketing has developed a marketing package which village officials are using at various trade shows and conferences.
