Alleged Arby’s Robber, Gunman Arrested

A man accused of robbing a Springfield fast food restaurant has been arrested.

A city spokesman says Tevin Thomas, 21, was arrested in the 1700 block of Seven Pines Road and taken to the Sangamon County Jail after being interviewed by detectives.

Police say Thomas robbed the Arby’s restaurant in the 3000 block of south Dirksen Parkway late Thursday night. He fired a single shot in the restaurant but no one was injured. He’s been charged with four counts of armed robbery, two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of robbery. He’s being held on $750,000 bond.
