15 Arrested on Drug Charges

Fifteen people in central Illinois have been arrested after a task force served several search warrants this week.

Those arrested range in age from 22 to 59 and are from several towns around central Illinois. They face a range of charges including unlawful posession and unlawful delivery of controlled substances.

Christian County Sheriff Bruce Kettlekamp says this was the effort of the Central Illinois Enforcement Group, helped by a number of central Illinois law enforcement agencies.

Per a news release from the Sheriff’s Department, the people arrested are as follows:

1. Jeremy C. Christian, 40, of Tower Hill. Charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.

2. John C. Carriker, 29, of Tovey. Charged with one count of possession of cannabis with intent to deliver.

3. Chad G. Dust, 29, of Pana. Charged with one count of unlawful delivery of cannabis.

4. Maggie D. Dust, 37, of Pana. Charged with one count of unlawful delivery of cannabis.

5. Stephanie M. Holly, 31, of Pana. Charged with one count of unlawful posession of methamphetamine precursor.

6. Jennifer L. Ivy, 32, of Stonington. Charged with one count unlawful delivery of a controlled subtance.

7. Charlotte E. Jones, 26, of Assumption. Charged with one count of unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.

8. Alicia J. Kee, 35, of Taylorville. Charged with one count of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

9. Lula R. Merrifield, 38, of Pana. Charged with one count unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

10. James E. Merritt, 46, of Tower Hill. Charged with one count unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.

11. Tyrone A. Powyszynski, 37, of Pana. Charged with one count unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.

12. Bradley S. Stimac, 25, of Taylorville. Charged with one count unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, and two counts unlawful delivery of cannabis.

13. Michael R. Wilson, 22, of Tovey. Charged with one count unlawful delivery of a controlled substance.

14. Matthew A. Woolard, 35, of Nokomis. Charged with one count unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.

15. Kevin J. McKenna, 59, of Pana. Charged with one count unlawful possession of methamphetamine precursor.
