United Persian Society presents The Cat Fanciers Association Midwest Region Award Cat Show.

 
June 7-8 9am-3pm. Entry fee is $12-family, $5-adult, $4-senior, $3 kids (3-12), Under 3 get in FREE! If they mention they heard it on the radio they will get $1 off each paying member in their group.
 
It will be held at the Illinois Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.
 
This is a fun family event where they can see up to 225 cats of many different breeds..everything from a Sphynx (hairless cat) to a domestic household pet. All of these cats will be competing in a feline beauty contest before 8 different judges–4 judges each day. There will also be cats looking for new homes and available for adoption from some breeders and also Sangamon County Animal Control. Sangamon County cats will be competing in the household pet class and also be available for adoption–here is your chance to adopt an award winning cat! Any cat leaving the show hall MUST be in a SECURE CARRIER per CFA show rules so please put a carrier in your car if you even think you might end up with a new family member.
 
There will be vendors there for feline and human wants and needs.
