Prevention First office

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., October 26, 2013, area residents can drop off unused, unwanted and expired prescription drugs for safe disposal at the Prevention First office, 2800 Montvale Drive, Springfield. Area police will be on hand to monitor disposal. All medications collected will be turned over to the DEA for proper handling. The service is free and anonymous
