Girls on the Run of Central Illinois Fall 5k- presented by Memorial Health Systems

o What: non-competitive, family oriented, fun community 5k Run/Walk Event

o When: Saturday, November 9th 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. ; race begins at 10:00 a.m.

o Where: Lincoln Land Community College, Springfield IL

o Cost: 12 and under- $15 through Friday, October 25th; $20 through Friday, November 8th; $25 Saturday, November 9th

13 and up- $25 through Friday, October 25th; $30 through Friday, November 8th; $35 Saturday, November 9th

Join us on Saturday, November 9th for the Girls on the Run “Peace Love Rock’n Race” 5k presented by Memorial Health System at Lincoln Land Community College. This is more than a race, it’s a celebration! Run, jog, walk or skip to the finish line with our over 450 program girls and 160 volunteers! This one of a kind, non-competitive event is open to the community and all abilities are encouraged to participate. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. with fun activities such a face painting, happy hair and dancing. The race begins at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a dance party that will last until noon.
