8:30 – Registration for 5K Fun Walk/Run
8:45 – Race Begins**
9:00 – BBQ Judging**
9:30 – Live Worship Music from Outdoor Stage
10:00 – Outdoor All Church Worship Service  [Nursery & Preschool Available; no elementary programming)
11:30 – Lunch & Events Commence (Goodwill offering of $3 per person, Dads are Free!!)

  • **Father/Child Fishing Tournament – Are you a fisherman at heart? Bring your fishing poles (we’ll supply the bait) and see who can catch the biggest fish in the pond at Hope Church.  A prize will be awarded to the person that has the biggest catch!!  Contact Erik Adamski for more information.
  • **Paintball – Join us in a safe and fun environment where you can shoot your parents and/or kids with paint. Sign up required so teams can be formed.  Please contact Dave Johnson for more information.
  • Classic Car Show – Car Show featuring – NASCAR Justin Allgaier’s #51 Brandt Racing Team racecar, Tim Wilkerson’s NHRA Nitro Funny Car, Isringhausen Motorsports Porsche racecar.
  • Local Race Cars on display (Allgaier, Wilkerson & Isringhausen)
  • Clinic Amateur Race Car – Also featured a “Clinic Car,” an amateur race car that the kids can get in, put on the helmet and gloves for pictures. Other classic cars will be available too; 409 62’ Chevy, plus others to come…
  • Backpack Jones Concert – We all love watching Mike Wallace, aka “Big Mike,” sing the blues at church, now you can hear him and his band perform live on stage right in Hope Church’s backyard!!
  • Golf Competition – Hope Church’s very own golf pro, Larry Davis, will be providing a kids’ demonstration and holding a “Closest to the Pin” contest. Show off your golf skills and win a prize!
  • Fire Truck Exhibit

Rauners Say Bruce and Quinn Agree on Social Issues

Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate businessman Bruce Rauner participates in a Republican gubernatorial candidate debate Tuesday, Feb. 18, 2014, in Springfield, Ill. The four Republican gubernatorial candidates said that they’ll be willing to work with unions if elected but differed on how to approach the relationship during a downstate debate that largely focused on pension reform, taxes and just briefly on personal issues that have dogged some of the candidates.

Speaking to a coalition of women supporting her husband’s campaign, Diana Rauner said Gov. Pat Quinn has tried to take the focus off jobs and the economy.
