Bob Murray joined NewsRadio 1240 WTAX in May of 2003. Bob is the host of Morning Newswtach from 5:30am-9AM.

Bob has nearly 40 years of broadcasting experience ranging from an on-air personality on the radio to a television weatherman in Springfield and Decatur. He was a finalist for a Small Market Personality of the Year Marconi Award in September of 2009.

Bob is very involved with the community always being an emcee for an event or taking part in promoting some cause.
