Alex Degman is WTAX’s News Director/Brand Manager, taking over in April 2013 for long-standing ND/BM Michelle Eccles.

He came to WTAX full time in July 2012 after serving as a state government reporter for the Illinois Radio Network for a year and a half. He’s also spent time working in Macomb and Ithaca, New York.

And yes, it’s true, this picture is about six years old. Don’t hold it against him.
