Today is the last day for teenagers in Springfield to go tanning in a tanning salon. The city banned people under 18 from using commercial tanning beds. Even those with parental consent won't be allowed in the beds. Violating the ban comes with a fine of at least 75-dollars. The teens will still be allowed to get spray tans and use private tanning beds inside their homes.
