Major Break in Mechanicsburg Body Case.



The Sangamon County Sheriff, State's Attorney and Coroner plan to release a joint press release at 2pm today regarding a major break in the case of a body found in Mechanicsburg at the end of October.  A release announcing the joint press release says there'a  major break in the "previously" unidentified body found in rural Mechanicsburg on October 29th. 

A man was found near Griffiths Creek Road shortly after 6:00pm on October 29th. Police say he didn't have identification on him and were having trouble getting an i-d on the victim.  Authorities did say it is a homicide investigation.
