Jacksonville State Representative Taking a New Job.

The Illinois Petroleum Council will have a new executive director.  Dave Sykuta is retiring and State Representative Jim Watson of Jacksonville will be taking over for him in December. The new gig means Watson will resign from his seat on December 3rd.

Sykuta says there will be a learning curve but Watson will do fine.  He says the biggest response people have when they begin to work there is, "I never knew people felt so strongly about gas prices." Sykuta says Watson has some experience in the motor fuel industry and with the existing staff at the office Watson will do fine. Watson
