All Armed forces have until the middle of May to submit changes that will allow female soldiers to fight in combat roles.
Lieutenant Colonel Clayton Kuetemeyer, an Infantry Battalion Officer of the Illinois Army National Guard, says recruitment will not be an issue when it comes to finding female soldiers ready for combat.
He says female soldiers work along side male soldiers everyday in the guard , and they do a good job.
The Pentagon Lifted a ban on females in combat roles on Thursday.
