Chicago Teachers Hope To Return To Classrooms Monday

Chicago public school teachers could return to the classroom as soon as Monday.

The teachers union's board is poised to vote today on a tentative deal that could see hundreds of thousands of students in the nation's third largest school district back in class for the first time in a week.

Union President Karen Lewis says the two sides have agreed on a "framework with all points resolved."
