Bill Cellini's attorneys are arguing that the Springfield businessman should get probation and not the 6 1/2 to 8 year prison sentence the guidelines call for. The State Journal Register reports Cellini's lawyers contend Cellini's sentencing recommendation is based on the charges against him and not on what he was convicted of. His lawyers argue Cellini's role in the Blagojevich case was minimal. Cellini has been struggling with some health problems and his sentencing on Monday was delayed until October 4th.
